About Us

I got started in the BBQ business when I was 16 years old. I love to eat, which naturally led me to the love of cooking as I got older. I love God and my family. I strive to let everything I do reflect that. I have a beautiful wife and three boys. I grew up in Lebanon, TN but I knew I wanted my kids to grow up in a small town. We helped launch a church here in Hartsville and fell in love. My wife and I knew this is where we wanted to plant our roots. I then went from managing a bbq restaurant to starting our very own. Small business is hard and small town is even harder. I have always been a firm believer that no matter who you are or what your background is, if you work hard and believe in yourself you can accomplish anything! We have been blessed to have been open now since 2012 and plan to continue for many years to come!
